“Never forget from where you came.Never lose sight of who you are. And always look forward to where you want to go to chart your course over the great oceans of life.” Anonymous. This quote struck me because it sums up who I really am
“Never Forget where you came”

Over the past year, I led a team of 5 people to identify a market place opportunity in order to expand a new healthy snack to the US market. Through extensive consumer research, strategic planning, unique out of the building tactics, and rapid prototyping, my team collaborated to bring this successful, highly competitive foreign snack, which we have branded as “Cornys”, to the United States. After critically analyzing the current market and conducting extensive research; we creatively rebranded and repackaged the product to appeal and resonate with the American consumers. Through hard work, determination, and the drive to succeed, my team was featured in various Multimedia articles identifying up and coming entrepreneurs. (Please see the links below)
• Developed various prototypes and advertisement designs for packaging based on over 700
consumer interviews
• Strategically developed and leveraged a social media plan that increased brand
awareness by 300%
• Achieved sales goals by depleting inventory of 800 bags in 72 hours with a 75% profit margin✯ This project was awarded the Howe School of Technology Management “Outstanding Business and Technology Project Award” . Out of 64 senior design project, we placed 3rd in the Stevens Elevator Pitch Competition. This was the first time a Business team placed in this competition. I believe this hand on experience is extremely valuable and will help me in my future career.

The online travel revolution that has taken place in the last 10 years has led to substantial changes in the travel industry’s competitive environment. These changes have had a significant impact and have forced companies to re-think their business models. In particular, through technology facilitators, consumers now play a much more central and active role. Customer knowledge and social interaction are key requirements to compete successfully in this new environment.
During my study abroad I interned at Pharomina Tours, a tourism company in Cairo, Egypt. I led a team of 8 people and enhanced my communication skills in order to overcome challenges due to culture and language barriers. Due to the changes in the industry, the company was looking to implement a more innovated consumer centric service approach.• The company’s main business segments were airline ticketing and transportation
• Focused on expanding to a third business segment, offering low cost vacation packages, which exceeded the set sales goals by 25%
• Recommended and integrated a promotional plan by creating a customer loyalty program, which led to a 65% client retention
• Redesigned company’s logo, mission, and vision to create a distinctive branding to inspire and resonate with consumers
• Created an entirely new marketing plan which was focused on increased interactivity between on and offline users -
